Total fee agreed upon is final, no additional discounts or additions may be added or subtracted from this amount. At the time of requesting an Entertainment Agreement for your date, a tentative reservation will be held for your event. In the Agreement is noted a Due Date. To confirm all Agreements, the above deposit must be paid by the Due Date. Agreements received after the Due Date are subject to availability. If sending a deposit, the entire balance must be paid no later than two weeks and one day prior to the event, but at least one day prior to the date of the event unless otherwise previously arranged. DJ 1 Sound Systems accepts only cash, check or money order. There will be a $50.00 fee charged for all returned checks. Credit Cards are accepted on our website only, via secure payment through Paypal. An additional 3% fee will automatically be attached to your payment to avoid additional fees for DJ 1 Sound Systems. Credit Card Payments are for your convenience only and are not the preferred method of payment. Gratuities are not included and given to the DJ at the sole discretion of the client.

Cancellation:

The Agreement cannot be cancelled, modified or amended except in writing by either the client or DJ 1 Sound Systems. All cancellations made will forfeit the minimum deposit noted as well as all payments made. Cancellations made less than 15 days prior to the event will be responsible for the total fee. If a cancellation is made less than 15 days prior to the event, the client may, instead of being responsible for the total fee, sign a new Production Agreement to be held within six months of the scheduled event. Rescheduling for events cancelled due to inclement weather shall be accommodated, however, are subject to availability factors.

Overtime Costs:

If a client should request extended playing time during the event, it will be accommodated at the DJ's discretion and availability. Extended playing time may be purchased in hour increments at the rate noted on the Agreement. Payment for extended playing must be received the same day as the event, and may be purchased using cash, check or money order.

Provisions:

The client shall ensure that the venue at which a performance is held provides a sturdy 8 foot table near sufficient power consisting of two to three 110-volt outlets (3 prong grounded on SEPARATE circuits) unless notified otherwise due to additional or downgraded lighting system. In addition, the venue must be ensured to open at least two hours prior to the event’s starting time (unless notified otherwise due to additional or downgraded lighting system). Venues must also have proper music licenses and performance permits (if applicable). Steps within reason will be taken to protect DJ 1 Sound Systems' equipment and personnel. Crowd control must be provided if warranted. Outdoor provisions must be made in regards to power needs and canopy in the event of inclement weather.

Waiver:

The client will accept full responsibility for damages, injuries, and delays that occur should the aforementioned provisions not be met. In the event of circumstances presented that threat harm or injury to the DJ or equipment, then the DJ reserves all rights to cease the performance until such time as the client resolves the situation. The DJ also reserves the right to deny guest access to music recordings or equipment. In the event a DJ’s performance is delayed, the DJ will provide music for any time lacking due to the delay.
